Will it still fit as my bump grows, or will I need to size up?
The four-way stretch nylon accommodates the changes
in your waist and hips through the whole of pregnancy
without losing its shape. The high waist sits over
the bump and rises with it rather than digging in or
rolling down as the bump grows. Most women wear the
same size from the first trimester to full term. If
you are between sizes, go up, and the stretch will
handle the rest.
Is the fabric breathable enough?
This is a finer, lighter weight nylon specifically constructed for a naked feel against the skin. It sits without friction rather than clinging or trapping heat against the body. It is not the same
as thick shapewear nylon. That said, if you run particularly warm, the cotton-based options in the collection will breathe better overnight.
Will it go see-through when it stretches over the bump?
No. The fabric is confirmed as resistant to deformation through repeated wear and washing, which means it holds its structure and opacity even when stretched over a full-term bump. The four-way stretch returns to its original shape rather than thinning out.
How is this different from the other underwear in the collection?
The Seamless Maternity Brief is about invisibility and comfort under clothing, with a high waist that sits over the bump. The Bump Support Short has a V-shaped crossover waistband that sits beneath the bump and lifts it from below, a longer leg to
prevent thigh chafing, and a 100% cotton gusset. The Brief is what you wear when you want to forget you have underwear on. The Short is what you wear when you need the bump to feel actively supported through a long day. Many women keep both.
