You're finding your way back to movement, in your own time. The Retorno is a high-waisted legging made with the postpartum body in mind, for the days you want to feel like yourself again, on a slow morning walk, a stretch while the baby naps, or the first time you head out the door.

The waist sits high and stays where you put it, so nothing rolls or digs while you move. The cloud-feel knit is soft against the skin and stays opaque through every bend, so you can move without a second thought.

The Retorno Leggings are a fitted, full-length style with a high-rise waistband that sits well above the navel. They are cut for a close, second-skin fit, which is how the waistband stays in place and how the fabric performs as intended. If you are between sizes, choose the larger size for comfort across the waistband and hips.

It's a dense, supportive knit, so it can feel firm the first time you pull it on, which is normal for a performance nylon knit. They ease slightly with body heat and movement. The fabric has strong four-way stretch and good shape recovery, so they return to their original fit after washing.

The Retorno Leggings are made in a cloud-feel double-knit, smooth on the outside and gentle against the skin, so it stays soft on a tender middle and opaque as you move. Breathable and quick-drying, it holds its shape and colour wash after wash.

Composition: 78% nylon (performance weave), 22% elastane.
Care: Machine wash cold on a gentle cycle. Do not tumble dry. Do not iron. Lay flat or hang to dry. Wash with similar colours on first wash.

Are these see-through when I bend down?
No. It's a double-knit fabric, denser than a standard single-layer legging, so it stays opaque through squats, stretches and bending to lift a little one. If you ever find a colour that doesn't, we'd want to know.

Will the waistband roll down or dig in?
The waist is high and wide, cut to sit and stay rather than fold over. It holds without pinching, so you're not tugging it up through the day or feeling it cut in across the middle.

Are these comfortable so soon after having a baby?
They're made with the postpartum body in mind. The knit is soft against tender skin and the high waist sits smoothly over the middle without gripping. Everyone heals differently, so wear them when they feel right for you.

What size should I choose if my body is still changing?
Choose the larger of the two sizes you're between. The four-way stretch means a size will carry you across a good range as things settle, and a slightly roomier fit feels gentler over the middle while that's happening.

Do they feel tight or restrictive?
They sit close, but the stretch moves in every direction, so they don't restrict. Most people find they feel firm for the first minute, then disappear once they start moving.
