Will the waistband grow with my bump through the whole pregnancy?
Yes. The waistband is a wide, high-rise stretch panel designed to rise over the bump as it grows rather than sitting below it or digging in. It uses micro-elasticity rather than strong compression, so it adapts to the bump without gripping it. Most women wear the same size from their first trimester all the way through to birth.
These look very long. Will they fit petite women?
They are cut long by design, measuring 106 to 110 cm from waist to hem depending on size. For most heights, they will sit at or near the floor, which is part of the wide-leg silhouette. If you are petite, we recommend having the hem taken up by a few centimetres for the cleanest look. The waistband and fit through the body are not affected by height.
Do they have pockets?
Yes, two side pockets. They are functional and sit neatly within the wide-leg seam, so they do not add bulk to the silhouette.
The fabric is viscose, not cotton. What does that feel like?
Viscose is a botanical-fibre fabric that has a very similar feel to cotton against the skin. It is soft, breathable and drapes rather than clings. Many women find it more comfortable in warm weather than purely synthetic fabrics, as it does not trap heat the way polyester-dominant fabrics can.
Will they crease badly or lose their shape?
The viscose and polyester blend holds its shape well through a day of wear and does not stretch out or bag at the knees the way some looser knits can. Some light creasing is normal with any viscose fabric, and they can be steamed or pressed on a low setting to smooth them out.
Can I keep wearing them after birth?
Yes. The wide, relaxed fit and soft waistband make them an easy option through postpartum recovery, when comfort and ease of dressing matter most. They are practical for the fourth trimester and beyond, not just during pregnancy.
I've had a c-section. Are they comfortable during recovery?
The waistband is a wide stretch panel without a rigid seam or button, so it can sit gently over or be folded below the lower abdomen depending on where it is most comfortable for you. In the early weeks of recovery, fold or roll it down if needed and adjust as you heal.
What size should I choose if I am between sizes?
Choose the larger size. The trouser is already a relaxed, wide-leg fit, so sizing down will give a trimmer silhouette while sizing up will give more room through the hip and thigh. For comfort during pregnancy, most women prefer to go larger if they are in doubt.
